Sculpture carved from travertine marble with bronze base. An exact replica of a bear animal cracker at colossal size. Nelson's work is in the collections of the Guggenheim, the Walker, and exhibited globally. Roberta Smith of the NYTimes describes Nelson’s work as “the Faberge of Post-Minimalism”. Hirshhorn curator, Howard N. Fox, writes, "The Holos are... as coolly descriptive and deadpan as Chuck Close’s portraits..."
